Can I leave if I don't like it?
Just as with a paid role, leaving a volunteering role is a decision with many implications and shouldn't be taken lightly.
But, yes, you would of course be entitled to stop volunteering with an organisation should you wish. Our advice is to contact the Students' Union Employability and HR Team if you are thinking of leaving a voluntary role and need support.
