FACS at Chester Zoo 🦏🦓🐾

Today, the Forensics and Crime Science Society was honoured to be invited to Chester Zoo to deliver a talk on forensic ecology! FACS discussed how ecological evidence, such as soil, pollen, and insects, helps forensic investigators and law enforcement solve cases.

Today, I was invited to Chester Zoo to deliver a talk on how forensic ecology, including soil analysis, palynology, and entomology, can be used to help solve crimes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I spoke to an audience of 50 people from the gardening team, marketing team and more. 
They were very interested in hearing all about how the ecology they are surrounded by every day helps police and investigators solve heinous crimes.I hope in the future FACS will be invited back!
