Autumn Bye-Election Results Announced

The Autumn Bye-Election has concluded, and we’re excited to welcome our newly elected student representatives, passionate leaders ready to drive positive change and speak up for their student communities.

Staffordshire Students’ Union is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Autumn Bye-Election, with a new cohort of student leaders elected to represent their peers across Schools and key student experience areas.

The Autumn Bye-Election gives students the opportunity to step into representative roles mid-year, strengthening the student voice and ensuring every community across the University is heard. This year’s election saw strong engagement from students, with the most voters in a autumn bye-election since 2019!

Each representative will shortly begin their induction and training, where they will receive guidance on: Gathering and presenting student feedback Working with academic staff and University teams, Leading positive change within their School or community Contributing to key meetings, projects, and decision-making processes These newly elected student leaders join a wider network of representatives dedicated to championing student voices and shaping improvements across the University. Their work helps to ensure that every student’s experience is understood, valued, and acted upon.
