Faran's November Updates

06/11 - This week has been a busy one for me - lots of planning for a variety of things throughout the week! I worked with the University to ensure everything is ready to go for our Autumn graduation ceremonies. I also put some things in place for some exciting content I'm planning for Islamic Awareness Month!
13/11 - I attended meetings to improve the DTA mentoring program, reviewed venue status, and planned for events. I contributed to planning the Islamic Awareness Month Campaign, explored organizing a job fair with the Career Team, and actively engaged in discussions on the Union's academic report, emphasizing our commitment to collaborative efforts for educational initiatives and student welfare.
20/11 - I started last week with an exciting couple of days of celebration - attending three graduation ceremonies and the University's Diwali event! I then headed to Rep Council, to gain feedback from our Department Reps and Network Managers on the Union and University's progress.
27/11 - In a busy week, I finalized content for Islamic Awareness Month, and our campaign coordinator helped me complete the filming. I participated in a School Academic Committee meeting; had a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer about some upcoming changes in the University; presented updates at the Annual Union Member meeting; discussed global student recruitment with the Internationalization Strategic Group, and sought feedback on Interfaith Dialogue initiatives from a University Staff member.
