Proud to Shout About is a platform for students to celebrate their successes in being part of the union. Whether it’s running societies or simply moments that make you proud, this is the space to share them. It’s all about highlighting the effort, dedication, and passion that students put into their university life and giving them the recognition they deserve.
Introducing The MKS Direct: A project put together over a number of months, hours of discussions, scripting, filming and editing, to create a twenty-minute video that was informative and digestible, while still keeping in true MKS humour, and including as many committee as were available.
To reveal the video we invited not only our members, but our student officers too who were a wonderful audience; engaged and interested, which only reinforced our belief that all the hours of hard work were worth it to craft something new and unique. The reactions both in person and online were overwhelmingly positive from current and alumni members alike and has helped us to elevate our new projects to the next level.
During the video presentation, we answered any questions provided by our members, then published it to our socials which has been one of the most well-received videos we’ve uploaded this academic year. It encouraged our members (both present in session and those in the discord) to ask questions about the creative process, our events, and get hyped for our announcements, such as our merchandise, upcoming collaborations, events and the We Are Staffs Awards.
