We're pleased to share examples of the wonderful people and groups in our community and how they make our student members feel proud. Each group or individual that receives a recognition submission is in with a chance of winning a We Are Staffs Award!

"Gaz consistently goes above and beyond to support students and university campaigns, despite the demands of his own role. He regularly ensures that we have the equipment and resources needed to support the public, often sourcing these himself and, on many occasions, funding them out of his own pocket.
When I travelled to Germany and France to liaise with other policing students, Gaz personally invested significant time and money into providing patches, including Staffordshire University merchandise, to ensure that I and other students felt supported, included, and represented. This demonstrated not only his commitment to student engagement but also his pride in the university and its community.
Gaz is always available to support students, frequently working beyond his contracted hours to assist with campaigns and develop ideas that make the university safer and raise awareness on key issues. His dedication, generosity, and genuine care for students make him an outstanding example of what it means to be Proud to be Staffs."
