Here at Staffordshire University Students' Union, our vision is that every student will be proud to be part of Staffs.
We're pleased to share examples of the wonderful people and groups in our community and how they make our student members feel proud. Each group or individual that receives a recognition submission is in with a chance of winning a We Are Staffs Award!

"I’m an Erasmus student and I’ve been dancing since I was little, so finding a place where I can keep practicing made me feel at home."
"There has always been a strong team spirit among us and a real desire to keep going."
"The group may not be the biggest sports group at staffs but I think that just shows our determination even more. The group is full of brilliant people of all dance types who help each other with technique and choreography. Personally I feel fitter and the joy I feel when I dance and how the team allow me to express myself I think is incredible. I also feel proud to have won 3 awards so far. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, all at the go hard, go home competition which was a new experience for me but I loved it and I feel the dance team should be recognised for having gone and won awards for the university."
"I believe our committee has tried its hardest to encourage the group to be the best we can be. Not only that but they have organised nights out and dinners to help build our team and get to know each other. They have also organised competitions in which we won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd so far with more to come. This allows us to feel alive through the thrill of competition."
