"The fact that I can be a part of something significant to the University and actually fill out a dream of working and building a race car, granted its not for a racing series like F1, WEC, Rally but it's still making a race car from scratch and competing with it with other teams. This event demonstrates that people from all across the globe can come together and create something amazing, it doesn't matter if that person is a different colour, race, religion or does a different course. Working hard and showing respect to one another is a positive and has a positive impact on everyone."
"It gives a level of engineering knowledge that further develops the education provided from the degree, provides greater employment opportunities that opens doors to careers that wouldn’t be available having not done Formula Student, and it creates a sense of belonging and family, prepares students for a career after uni."

Even though being a recent joiner in the team. The group creates a professional and supportive environment where students learn from each other, take responsibility, and work towards shared goals."
"This team is one that’s made my uni experience something iIll never forget. I’ve made friends for life, and am able to implement my degree into creating and building a race car, and taking it to Silverstone!! The team are also great at contributing to help the community with open days, school events, and helping motorsport safety teams! It’s also such a great way to gain experience into the automobile world, whilst learning softer skills like teamwork, presenting and communication!!"
