Student Fundraising 2025/26

Our students have made a massive impact this year, raising money and donating useful items for local charities and meaningful causes.

This year has seen some truly inspiring fundraising activities from our students and student groups and we couldn't be prouder of their hardwork, generosity and the positive impact that our kind hearted students are making.

 

 

This term has seen a whole range of fundraising activities and a whopping £7279.07 has been raised so far this academic year by students and student groups, giving their time and energy to raise for charity.

Islamic Society have hosted bake sales, sports events and held cash collections which resulted in £593 53 being raised for Islamic Relief

Computing Society and Staffs Scarlettes campaigned for the Men's Health charity Movember - raising an amazing £552 between them 

Cue Sports did what they do best and hosted a charity pool event, raising £80.21 for Dougie Mac

Psychology Society teamed up with our LGBTQ+ Network to raise £136 of valuable funds for the network's Student Transition Fund

Glee Club are supporting committee members to raise funds for Play Action International and have raised £1270.

Overwatch 2 Society delivered a live charity tournament called Holiday Havoc, and raised a fantastic £607 for Cancer Research UK

Students donating pre-loved items have raised £4065 for British Heart Foundation

Amateur Dramatics Society joined up with Glee Club & Dance Club to host the end of term Variety Show - Raising £193.33 for Tourettes Action. 

Mario Kart Society teamed up with RAMS to host an alcohol free event in aid of Alcohol Change UK - Raising £24.85.

Chess Club raised £40 for Oxfam by competing in a chess tournament.

Life Drawing Society worked hard to host a sketchbook challenge, raising £256.20 for the Ukrainian Red Cross.

Valorant Society worked with Control Gaming to raise £1755 for Canceer reasearch.

Pokemon Society hosted a raffle during International Womens' Day, raising £225 for Womankind.

Fight Club have raised £217 for Sands.

Space and Aviation Society hosted a bake sale, raising £80.22 for Planetary Society and Aviation Without Borders.

Our kind hearted Engineering Society members have clubbed together to donate period & hygiene products which they have offered to students who may be need of essentials. 

A huge congratulations to all students involved - you are the reason why we are proud to be part of Staffs!
