It's time to reveal February's Student Group of the Month! But before we reveal who our top choice was, we wanted to remind you all that you can tell us about all of the cool things your group has been doing this year by filling out a Proud to Shout About It submission.
Student Group of the Month for February 2026 is...
GG!
After an exhilerating event on the 21st, with 70+ attendees, the GG collaboration takes the top spot, offering numerous activities and games such as Mario Kart, Sonic, and Wii games, it's clear why students enjoy the event! Alongside these activities, the organisers also did a Quiz or Quest, where attendees were picked at random to either be asked a question, or to take part in completing a level in a game!

Mario Kart - MKS Direct
The MKS Direct was an absolutely stunning method of providing members a chance to see the recent developments for the society, bringing back older committee members to foster a sense of community, and to provide a fun and informative update on everything they have planned, no wonder the Youtube Video did so well! For more information about the MKS Direct, we wrote a news article a while ago for it!
Oriental Society - Lunar New Year
The Oriental Society hosted a pot luck event to celebrate the Lunar New Year, giving them a chance to showcase their culture and to celebrate such a momentous event! They supported the Union in sharing red envelopes around campus for students, helping to share the festivities.
