This week, we're shining our Student Group Spotlight on FACS society...

About the group:

Do you have a passion for forensics, true crime and policing? Or perhaps you want to delve into what's beyond a lecture theatre, or your current course? Well, you're in the right place! The FACs society is managed by a collective of students who have a strong passion for justice and understanding of forensics, where we can bring forensics to life through practicals and taster sessions with like-minded students. Additionally, we also offer academic support and host various events and competitions. There's always something to get involved in!

If we sound like we're a bit of you, why not join in? Whether you're studying forensics or policing, or fascinated by crime, get stuck in as we're needing people to help solve crimes!

Special Achievements to include:

Our society hosts many events across the academic year that aim to broaden our knowledge and provide networking opportunities to those studying in the field. We invite guest speakers and industry experts to speak with the students and delve deep into the world of forensics and policing. We also host more laid back, social sessions like our upcoming "Pumpkin Autopsy"!

We also pride ourselves in our fingerprinting labs we have available to use, which give our members the chance to practice their investigation skills.

Quotes from Members:

'FACs really brings us together as a community!'

'I've learnt so much outside of just my course, the society for forensics is just the beginning!'
