We are so excited to get the society going this year! Whether you’re just starting out or coming back for another year, we want the society to be somewhere you can meet people, get involved, have a laugh and enjoy some time outside of the usual uni routine.
We’ve got lots of ideas for the year ahead, including social events, CPD sessions and opportunities to build on your knowledge and develop new skills. We want to bring in some interesting sessions that are not only useful for placement and your future career, but also give you the chance to learn things you might not normally get to cover during your course.
We also want to bring everyone together across the different years, whether that’s sharing placement stories, helping each other out, having a chat about the course, (or just getting together for a social)! We’re all going through the same degree, so why not make some friends and have some fun along the way!
We’re still putting everything together, and this is where we need your help! We want to hear what you’d like to see from the society, whether that’s a particular CPD session, a social idea or something completely different. The more you get involved, the more we can make the society something that everyone can enjoy. We’ve got some exciting things planned and can’t wait to get started, so keep an eye out for what’s coming up and hopefully we’ll see you there!
