Natasha Cork
Students' Union President 2026/27
I am a 25-year-old student who was born and raised in Stoke, which I am very proud of. Throughout my time at university, I’ve been involved in a range of projects and campaigns focused on student wellbeing, safety, representation, and community engagement.
Some of the initiatives I’ve helped lead include awareness campaigns tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), student engagement projects, and collaborative work with university and community partners to improve the student experience.
My Manifesto
Pillar 1: Student-led safety
Anonymous Reporting Boxes
Creating discreet reporting points across campus to improve confidence in raising concerns.
Security Student Safety Audits
Working with students and security staff to identify areas needing improvement.
Transparent Feedback
Providing regular updates so students can see what action is being taken.
Pillar 2: Belonging and inclusion
Staffs Pride Week
A University-wide celebration focused on visibility, education and inclusion.
Wellbeing and Private Spaces
Improving access to quiet and supportive spaces across campus
Student-Led Nature Project
Creating collaborative wellbeing and biodiversity spaces designed with students
