Opportunity description:

The role of Early Years Volunteer is a fantastic opportunity to support families and children in your local area in our Big Cup playgroups. Our playgroups are a relaxed and fun environment, where parents can come to spend time with their child, seek out emotional support and make friends with other parents!

 

As a volunteer you will be vital in supporting the parents, making them feel welcome and ensuring they receive the support they need. This is a fantastic opportunity, especially for those who wish to expand into an early years career, volunteers need to be 16+.

 

General Duties:

  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Get to know parents/carers and children.
  • Getting down to the child’s level and playing.
  • Help with the running of Big Cup including but not limited to kitchen duties, set up, meet and greet and supporting parents where needed
  • Involved in planning stimulating activities for Big Cup

 

Sessions run from 9.30am till 11.30 in the below locations:

Monday - Bentilee

Tuesday - Tunstall

Wednesday - Newcastle Under Lyme, Abbey Hulton

Thursday - Longton

Friday - Hanley, Newcastle Under Lyme

 

 

You will be required to have a DBS check which will be submitted by ourselves and you will be reimbursed with vehicle travel expenses.
