Our clubs, societies, students’ union & university services came together last week to host our January Re-fresh fairs.
Student committee leaders from a range of student groups welcomed students new and returning to meet with them at the fair last week. Amongst the societies attending were RAMS, Re-enactment, Computing Society, Star Wars Society, Staffs Sonic Society and Myth Society as well as committee from some of our sports clubs, including Mountaineering and Cue Sports.
We even had debut visits from some of our new student groups; for those looking for adventure, we presented our new Caving Club and for those who appreciate a more chilled vibe, we look forward to our Baking Society making some tasty treats!
There's over 100 clubs and societies on offer here at Staffs - there really is something for everyone. But we understand that some students like to take a few weeks to settle in before joining a student group - That's ok!, That's where our Januray Re-Fresh fair and term two Give It A Go sessions come in - if you've not joined a club or society yet, it's not too late.
