What is the NSS?
The NSS is a national survey where final-year students share honest feedback about their university experience, from teaching and support to student life and representation.
It’s one of the biggest ways students can shape what comes next. And this year, your feedback has made a real impact.
What you’ve achieved
Thanks to students speaking up and sharing their experiences:
- You’ve helped us reach 7th in the UK for overall student positivity
- Students’ Union positivity has increased by 8.6%
- University positivity has increased by 7.6%
That’s a huge step forward and something you should be proud of.
Where we’re making the biggest impact

- Student voice is now at 86.4%, ranking 4th in the UK
- Representing your academic interests is at 86.2%, ranking 7th in the UK
