Celebrating Campus Heroes
We believe it’s important to recognise the contribution people make to ensure that your student experience is the best it can be.
Every year, we celebrate the huge successes and everyday impacts that students, student groups and staff have achieved in making our university community Proud To Be Staffs.
There are many individuals that make a positive difference every day; from the barista that took the time to learn your regular favourite coffee order, or the student group that welcomed you warmly and helped you to settled into uni, through to the academic staff member that went the extra mile to help you hit that deadline.
Whether it’s an everyday act of kindness or someone who has worked hard to solve a problem or support you, let us say thank you to them on your behalf.
We like to regularly highlight the great work of these individuals and feature their impacts on our website. Those everyday heroes could then be considered for an award as part of our We Are Staffs Celebrations.
There is also an opportunity to nominate directly for specific awards, those making it to the nominations short list are then invited to celebrate their achievements and recognition at the We Are Staffs Awards evening honouring our Student Rep and Student led groups.
