Staffs Versus Keele Varsity
Varsity 2026 is not far away and our sports teams at Staffs are training hard, ready to take on the mental and physical challenge of the annual Staffs Vs Keele Varsity.
We’ll be cheering from the sidelines and wishing all Staffs teams the best of luck.
In the meantime, we’re shining our Student Group Spotlight on some of those amazing teams who’ll be competing, so you can cheer along too, or maybe even get involved with some of the clubs yourself!

Staffs Snowsports
About the group:
Staffs Snowsports meets every week at Stoke Ski Centre, Festival Park for training and weekly in the Ember Lounge for socials.
This year, Staffs Snowsports have entered 6 competitions! Entering in for Slalom Ski Racing, Slopestyle and Big Air! They have also hosted 2 trips to France that has offered a full week of Skiing and Snowboarding to members.
They have attended numerous large-scale events throughout the year, even including other Univerity Snowsports clubs.

How to get involved
Dont be discouraged if you are new to Snowsports, as the instructors at Stoke Ski Centre are amazing and will help you learn quickly, Snowsports' members are also really welcoming, always offering a tip if anyone needs it!

Snowsports will be competing in a friendly against Keele at this year's varsity - but the stakes (and the slopes) are still high!
