The chess club usually meets weekly on a Tuesday (Theory) and Thursday (Matches) from 6-8pm in room CA303-2 (Catalyst) to play board chess and to study the game whilst socializing to get to know each other.
It's a great way to both improve at chess and make friends in a fun, dynamic environment, whether you're a complete beginner or a chess master.
We don't care if you aren't the best, this is the place to help you learn.
We are looking at building a team to compete in tournaments in the near future. This could be against other Universities or in FIDE (Federation Internationale des Echecs) rated matches.
