Historically, the Coven Society has been a close-knit group and a safe space for anyone interested in alternative religions and spirituality. We aim to help people find what might feel right for them and provide a space where everyone feels included and heard. 'Okay, but I don't think I believe in ALL of these things you guys believe in.' That is perfectly fine, friend! We have had loads of people come in and through the doors of Coven - people who were fully immersed in the pagan and witchcraft path, people who just really liked looking at crystals and enjoy the community Coven provides, people just at the start of their journey unsure of where it may lead - everyone is welcome!
So no matter your path and interest, here, there is a place for you, always.
This year we want to be more member-led than ever. We would like to hear feedback from our members as often as possible, invite them to lead sessions about their passions or their paths, and try to make their new and exciting ideas a reality when possible. We are here to support everyone's individual progress and help them feel connected and a part of something; celebrate the positive changes that university could bring, as well as weather the storms that may be.
As a team, the committee will push for healthy choices with your wellbeing as well as success in your personal journey. Experiencing some stress from essay planning? Don't worry, we're here to help guide you with de-stressing, so whether that be through meditation or even just a simple, nice cup of tea and a chat on how to make your inner self more comfortable in the mundane world, we will be there! After all, we are not just a Society, but a community.
