We have had a great year of poker so far in 2019-20, Myself and James have loved every minute of running this society and have high goals for the upcoming year.
These goals are just a few ways we want to elevate our group over the upcoming year for example;
- we want to gain a higher amount of students participating in our weekly games and therefore will be advertising more often in and around campus (e.g posters for tvs and outside venues)
- more value in quality trips, we would like to run more trips to places that everyone will enjoy these could also include things not related to society such as bowling or other fun activities.
- venue debate, as we are reaching a higher goal for members we may need to discuss a venue change in the upcoming year, because of this I will try to find us more space in verve or find us a room in uni that will be comfortable and accessible for everyone.
I look forward to seeing everyone next year as we all continue to grow our society to be the best in staffs
