Hello all! I don't wish to take up too much of anyone's time, so I'll keep this short. That in mind, this is also important, and so please do read the following manifesto.

So, I have now been part of this society for two years, having seen its ups and it's downs. This past year, you elected me as your communications officer, and I couldn't have been more appreciative. Each and every one of you have been amazing this year. It's been tough, and it's certainly not been an easy year for any of us. But entering the committee as late as I did, I've done the best I can to help and support the other committee members, and put on a great Variety Performance, and help you all in the build up to another great performance, Exposed! Now, I am finishing my year as your communications officer, and am aspiring to the future. I've thoroughly enjoyed this role, and I'd like for one of you to take it on next year, and give you guys the same opportunity I had. Moving forward, I'd like to nominate myself for the role of finance officer in the next academic year.

Having studied both business, and maths at A-Level, I do feel qualified for such a role. But we all know that the role of finance officer scopes larger than that. I would be here with you, to help our new manager, and to guid you guys into another great year. As a committee member next year, I want to work on the following things:

- I want to check in with you guys periodically. See how you're doing, and offer to attempt any changes to the regime that you feel would help you.

- I want to give you lot more opportunities to become properly tech trained, if that's something you want, and give those of you trying out new roles, more guidance, so that you can better develop yourself as a director for example.

- I'd like to connect ourselves with the community, and give you guys the opportunity to take a trip as a society, to see a show, or something of the like.

- And importantly, I want to make a change next year. Other nominees may offer to run things the same way they've been ran these past two years. Which is great, and we've all enjoyed it. But if I offer you that too, what makes me different? You have the power to vote, and therefore should have the luxury of choice. I'm providing you with the means to choose. I'm not talking about an entire remodel. But two years ago, there was no Variety Performance. That was something new. And that's what I want to give you. Something new, and a different way to home you're skills.

To sum up as to why I believe I am a good choice for finance officer, I would like to remind you that this year's committee will not be next year's committee. In fact, we're looking at a fresh range of faces across the board to run the society. A fresh pair of eyes and minds can be good. But re-electing me puts someone with experience back in the mix. Someime who can help, and someone who can help guide you're new manager, helping their communication with the Union, and supporting the leadership of the society. As a Union employee, two time society member, and ex-member of a sports team, I'm very connected with the Union, and can lend a very helpful hand. And I've been keenly watching the nominations as a committee member. Having planned to run for finance, it was becoming apparent that we may not have a manger. Obviously, we now do have a lucky someone running for the manager, and I know they'll do great. But before they came along, I'd written a manager manifesto too. Just incase someone else didn't come along. In preparation, I'd planned for the worst and mitagted the issue. Someone who thinks like this, and prepares for those kind of outcomes is a useful skill to have in a leadership position. Vote for me, and you'll have a finance officer who's well prepared for when things don't go to plan, and who has the experience to appropriately support your new committee.

Thankyou for reading. And happy voting!
