Hi, my name is Christopher Nolan and I am running for the position of Society Manager for the Anime and Manga Society for 2021/2022. Since joining the Anime society in 2019, I have made friends and memorable experiences within the society both online and in person.
As the current society manager, I have helped oversee a difficult period with covid 19 and helped increase our overall members. If I’m elected as society manager for the next society year I have a few ideas on what we could do to improve the society including:
Providing dedicated merchandise for the society such as hoodies and t-shirts, this includes having personalised names on your hoodies allowing yourselves to interact with one another easier.
Bringing in industry companies to provide talks or presentations on related media and merchandise within the anime industry. As a society I want us I want us to be up to date on what is being released in the industry as well events happening around the country
The final goal I would like to achieve is to provide more society events such attending conventions such as MCM comic con as well running trip to the cinema to see the latest UK releases for anime films.
