Hey guys my name is Julia and I am 19 years old. I will be a second-year studying Policing and Criminal Investigation. Most people would describe me as friendly and approachable which I think are key characteristics for a communications officer. I am also very organised for example I never miss a deadline and have diaries/timetables to manage my work. I am fully committed to the Staffs Scarlettes and will dedicate every spare second I have to the community and the team. Increase of Socials
This is so important as the past year has isolated us from everyone. I believe it is vital that we establish relationships within the team to ensure we all work well and therefore succeed. I promise to make these happen whether these be online or in person.

Increase Team Members Input
As a first-year during covid, I found it very hard to get involved and give my input. I will strive to increase our communication with all members of the team no matter how old or new you are. I have ideas of how to create a space where people can anonymously suggest ideas to improve the team and the way we do things. This is to make sure everyone gets input on how things are run especially if you consider yourself too shy to speak up.

To improve notification
Although the current committee has done an amazing job with the rubbish year they have been provided, my final goal is to improve the communication and notification of activities events, and practices. I especially want to enforce this at the beginning of the academic year so we recruit anyone who wants to be involved. This is also to make sure members do not miss a single event and everyone is caught up on what the team is doing.
