My name is Rhiannon Pateman, I am 20 years old. I have nominated myself for communications officer as I am a very organised person and I believe that I have great communication skills due to working in retail as well as around young people in schools that I volunteer in. I'd like this role because I have spent 9 years of my life doing drama and I have been in charge of getting more people involved in a drama group I used to run. This involved creating activities suited to everyone; I would also keep everyone updated about what we would be doing every week and I'd be in charge of getting more people to join or get involved in big plays. If I was elected I'd make sure that everyone had a say in what we do and I'd make the society known to everyone for how great it truly is. I would also put 110% effort into everything I do for the society, especially when it comes to having big events like a full cast play where the society can show their amazing acting skills and doing a variety show so other talents can be shown, not just acting. I believe that I would be a great communications officer as I know how to make the society enjoyable for everyone.
