Hi there! I’m Jamie (also known as Jamski), and I am running for Head of Myth!
So first off, who am I? What are my motives? How tall am I? Lemme tell you!
I am a third year games design student! I make games! I’ve been around this uni for like, three years or something silly. I am old! In my time at his uni I have filled a number of committee positions; I was the Finance Officer for the LGBT+ Network, as well as being the Welfare Officer for my favourite society in the world (I’m not biased I promise) MYTH! I have a background in running events, managing communities and generally being a friendly, approachable human!
But why do I want to run Myth? Good question, me. I want to run Myth because I have been at this university for three years, and even in the worst times, Myth pulls together as a community to create stories, go on adventures and play games. Over the last year, one of the things that has kept me going through the lockdowns has been Dungeon Legends, as well as the socials and jackbox games we’ve all been playing together! Where so many societies have disappeared into the void, Myth has endured. I owe Myth a little bit of my sanity, and I would be more than happy to lead it for my final year at university.
But what would I do? Amazing things! Hopefully! Specifically? The head of a society should do what the members want to do. So that will be alot of what I do! But I do wanna do some stuff that I hope y'all will like;
And many many more things we can do! Maybe some surprises! And now, just for fun, a little trivia section; I am six foot two, I only ever play elves, my go-to class in D&D is Bard, and I look very dashing in a tunic.
