Hello Everyone,
My name is Addison and I have been running the Poker society for the past 2 years.
Due to covid-19 we have been unable to run events as we would have liked to and as a result of this the society has taken a short break for the first time in many years. With the restrictions appearing to ease within future months I hope to be able to keep events running with the help of my hardworking committee team.
In addition to running events again in this upcoming year, as society manager I will aim to keep our equipment up to date. As we have recently purchased new cards for the society, I will focus on upgrading the amount of poker chips we have in order to allow us to host larger tournaments in cooperation with Keele University's poker society.
I hope to see you all at the society within this new year as we slowly progress back to some sense of normality.
