Dance has been a massive part of my life ever since I was a kid. Dance has given me the freedom to express how I feel, which I can't in other ways. When I'm dancing. I'm in the moment and I don't think about anything else all I do is feel the beat and I love it. It's made me who I am today and allowed me to meet amazing people who have a shared love with what I have a passion for. Joining SUDC has definitely been a highlight of my first year at University. As soon as I stepped through the audition doors it felt like home. Even though we have been dancing online, dance has allowed me to stay active and social which I have thoroughly enjoyed. SUDC has not only helped me with these things but has also been a family that I can rely on and be supported through these tough times. This is what I would love to create and expand if I become the communications officer.
I love performing and I love dance, so to be a part of this committee would be a great honour. I believe I will be great for this role beause I am a good listener, I give great advice, I'm organised and I'm hardworking. I'm always there if anyone needs any help or support. I am passionate about what I do and I believe this comes cross in my work. As the communications officer I would love to help gain more members to our family and to spread awareness and share the talent of this amazing club. I would like to create more of a social media presence and to create more socials and events to have more memories therefore building the team spirit. I have always wanted to be a part of doing a flashmob . I would love for us to do this as not only would it be fun, it would also help us with raising money for competitions.
