Since the end of the covid pandemic, I have been the President of the Staffordshire Scarlettes for the past two years in which I have led myself and have shared the role. From my first year, my goal was to bring back the society and make it bigger and better with the drive of showing everyone within the University what we are made of. I believe that I have made that happen, however I know that I have another year left in me. I feel that I have proved to many members within this society that I can be a leader, a person who you can trust and someone who will listen to your concerns. I want everyone to feel that by coming to cheer, It makes you feel safe, comfortable and a place where you can be yourself. In addition, I make the time to get to know everyone on all teams so that everyone knows that you can to talk to me at any time no matter what. This year, I want to grow this society more by collaborating with other University Cheerleading teams to get our name out there and seeing if we can do joint events with other cheer teams. In addition to this, I want the society to be involved more across the University, from being featured on the radio to participating in events to get us even more recognised that we are a SPORTS TEAM! I also plan for more time at gymnastics centres sessions before competition season, more mats and giving you all more opportunities to grow your passion for Cheer. You will all have the trust of me being your President for another year and I will make sure, from the bottom of my heart, that you will a leader who will look after you and ensure that she will do anything for you to have the best experience and a family you will treasure forever.
