Dear fellow engineering students,
I am Usama Pervaiz, and I am excited to be running for the position of Department Rep for the Engineering department. As an engineering student myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with pursuing a degree in this field. That is why I am determined to represent your needs and ideas to the best of my ability.
One of my main goals as Department Rep is to increase the interaction and collaboration among students and faculty within the department. I believe that a stronger sense of community will lead to better communication, idea-sharing, and ultimately, a more fulfilling academic experiences. I know the importance of career readiness for engineering students. As your Department Rep, I plan to work closely with the Career Services Office to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to prepare for their future careers. This includes hosting career fairs, inviting industry professionals for sessions with students.
I am committed to be voice of all engineering students.
