No decisions about us, without us!
Hey everyone!
I'm Casey-Lee Nightingale, a Level 6 Game Design student from the London campus, and I’m running to be your next Full Time Officer. I’m passionate about making our university a place where every student feels heard, supported, and empowered to thrive—on all campuses, and in every aspect of student life.
Throughout my time here, I’ve worked hard to make student voices count. I’ve been proud to be a “Proud to be Staffs” nominee, helped students successfully campaign to reinstate a course that was removed over the summer, run and managed social events on campus, and supported students in bringing forward their issues—working with them to find positive, real resolutions.
Everything I do comes down to one core principle:
No decision about us, without us.
Now, I want to take that passion further:
1. Holding the University Accountable Through Two-Way Communication
Communication between us and the university should be the norm—not the exception. I’ll push for honest, consistent, two-way dialogue that ensures students aren’t just heard, but responded to. From academic decisions to campus policies, I’ll fight to make sure student priorities shape university action.
2. Standing Up for Satellite Campuses
As someone from the London campus, I understand how isolating it can feel being away from the main site. I’ll make sure students across all campuses have equal access to support, representation, and opportunity—through regular outreach, cross-campus events, and stronger connections with officers.
3. Unlocking Opportunities for Involvement
University should open doors—both professionally and socially. I’ll work to expand access to industry links, mentoring, student-led events, societies, creative spaces, and projects that help students grow.
I’m here to represent all of us.
No more decisions about us, without us. Let’s build the future we deserve—together.
