Nothing makes us Proud to be Staffs more than when Groups of Students come together and tell us that they want to make something better for our community here at Staffordshire University.

Group Volunteering Opportunities are led by you and managed by the Students' Union. If five or more people up-vote your Group Volunteering Idea, our team will be in touch to bring you all together and help you plan your chosen activity.

Group Volunteering Ideas

Group opportunities that have been sucessful in the past have included:

  • Litter Picks in the Local Area

  • Tree and Flower Box Planting on Campus

  • Fundraising Events for Charities (such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning)

  • Running a Winter Soup Kitchen on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day

  • Collecting Gifts for Children at Christmas or Easter Eggs at Easter

Group Volunteering Process

1. Suggest a Group Volunteering Idea

By logging in, you'll be able to see our existing Volunteering Ideas and be able to create your own. Simply fill out the basic details of your idea then sit back and watch as interested students vote.

2. Reach 5 Votes

Once 5 students have voted on your idea, we'll bring you all together with appropriate member of Union and University Staff to make your idea happen. Sometimes, Group Volunteering can be almost instantaneous but occasionally we'll need to give your activity more planning and preparation time

3. See your idea come to Life!

No matter how big or small your activity, enjoy as together we make it happen. Every impact in our community counts and you can feel proud of how you have supported our Community here at Staffs.
