Resolving conflict, whoever it is with, should always begin by opening a dialogue. Lots of things can be resolved, informally, by talking and being open and honest.  

If this doesn’t resolve an issue, there are further steps that you can take. If you’re in dispute with a neighbour, you can visit the gov.uk website or if you’re in conflict with your landlord, you can visit the Shelter website or call their free helpline on 0808 800 4444 for support.
