Simon Ratcliffe's Story
"Over our 2 year FDA visitor attraction and resort management we have 10 weeks of placement at Alton towers resort. Simon is the assistant learning recruitment and development manager at Alton towers resort, and has been one of our main points of contacts at the resort! He has helped us all develop professionally and help us secure roles and placements that interest us throughout the resort. He’s always available at the end of an email / phone call if we needed any guidance on what to do next in any situation. With simons help these 2 years I am graduating with a full time permanent job at managerial level at the resort and it’s down to his belief and support that has helped me achieve this! Let’s not forget the trip to Warwick castle in year 1 and to wales in year 2 during some of his busiest times at work just to get us all away from work / uni and to team build with each other and the first years! I know I will stay in contact throughout my Career at Alton towers and the wider merlin group!"
