Being a Students' Union Team Leader isn't just about giving directions - it's about caring about your Students' Union, your staff team and most of your student customers. Isaac, a relatively new Team Leader with our Ember Lounge team, has been recognised by his team for being a great role model. Thank you Isaac, for making us Proud to be Staffs.
Isaac Robinson's Story
"From the day they have started at LRV, he's been helpful & used his initiative & this was quickly picked up by management who quickly promoted him to team leader. However, even as a team leader, you will find as soon as he arrives on shift, he will overtake whoever is in pot wash, doing the tasks that noone wants to do for the entire shift with no complaint. Any time I've had a problem at work & come to him, they have dealt with it efficiently, ensuring I was okay. An example of this was when I felt a little uncomfortable telling customers to leave the stage on a club night. I came to the office, mentioned it, and instead of waiting to see what management said, he got right up, dealt with the situation, stood on the sidelines for a bit to ensure it didn't happen again and came back later to ensure I was okay. THAT is real leadership!"
