Paul Ottey And Fiona Graham's Story
"Paul and Fiona are lecturers for our courses- film production technology and Digital film and post production. We have never before received more support and guidance within education than we have from them - they believe in us fully and have taken the time to learn each person on our courses individual strengths and weaknesses and how to encourage the very best out of every single one of us. They always talk to us with the upmost respect which makes us feel like equals and genuinely important members of the university. We wholeheartedly look forward to our modules with Paul and Fiona as they take effort to make every single lecture and tutorial interesting, engaging and most importantly, greatly educational. On a personal level, Paul and Fiona are ALWAYS positive and upbeat, they never complain about anything which is so refreshing; we have never seen them without a smile on their faces. Whenever we doubt ourselves Paul and Fiona will be the first to remind us that we are talented and capable. I sincerely feel that my confidence within filmmaking, the university setting and general life has improved tenfold thanks to their encouragement. We cannot speak highly enough of the pair and we're sure this statement doesn't even do them justice but it's a start. We strongly believe that they are a perfect representation of what Staffs and university in general is all about and that's why they make us Proud to be Staffs every day. "
