Robert Shaw's Story
"Robert Shaw is one of the most hard working lecturers who actually make students feel proud to be staffs. He has helped me feel confident in being myself, confident that I can succeed in university and glad to be one of his students. If it wasn't for Rob Shaw I would have quite university when I decided now was time to come out as transgender. However because as he treats all his students like family and always has our backs, he was the first person I actually told and he gave me the help and advice I needed to start my journey. It's lecturers like him who make me proud to be staffs. "
