Proud to be Staffs Story: Student Voice Team

Union Staff Team

Times of uncertainty cause anxieties and frustrations. The Coronavirus Pandemic has wholly transformed teaching and learning across the country in a mere week. Working tirelessly since our Campus sadly had to close, has been our Student Voice Team. They have worked hard to hear the complaints, frustrations and anxieties of our students, to help our Union and our University undertand and make change. Thank you to the Student Voice Team, for making us Proud to be Staffs.

Student Voice Team's Story

"I wanted to say a massive thank you to the Student Voice Team in the Students' Union for really being there for our students. They have actively reached out to students all hours of the day and night to hear the real issues our students are facing and to ensure that they are fed through the academic structures and services to make our students voices heard. This often means angry and upset students sharing their frustrations, but they have remained calm and methodical in there approach, pushing for responses and working with University colleagues to get answers for students. A team of three supporting hundreds of students is no mean feat, so a massive thank you and well done for really supporting students academic interests and try to really enhance their experience. "

We hope that you are as proud of your story as we are. However, if you would prefer the Students' Union to no longer display you story on our website, please email union@staffs.ac.uk and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.
