"Where to start. David was the first member of the esports staff that I met whilst signing up to Staffs London, and from first impressions through to now he has been nothing but professional, helpful, and honest. He has supported every decision I've made and given honest answers and opinions on everything asked, whilst being an inspiring and brilliant academic. His research is interesting and will likely form a basis for my own in the future, and his unique lived experiences of travelling, studying, and researching in different places mean he has a wealth of knowledge and passion that he delivers regularly during his lectures, as well as at other times too. He is always there when he is needed, and he is brilliantly witty and fun, and is great at making people comfortable during their time at Staffs, again with his honesty and passion. I feel that the course is in completely the right hands with Dr Cumming, and I couldn't wish for a better guide in my academic journey. Thank you David, and I sincerely hope that we can research together in the future."
