Can you help me with volunteering overseas?
Successful International Volunt'touring' can give you access to incredible experiences, often supporting communities in dire need of your support. But, such activities are very intensive, even before you depart the UK. You will be required to raise considerable amounts of money, through self-directed and supported fundraising activities, often including your flights, visas, accommodation and board. As such, here at your Students' Union we don't actively promote international volun'touring' nor do we endorse any particular provider.
Come and talk to your Employability and HR Team before entering any contract for International Volun'touring' activities, so that we can explore with you the risks and costs involved.
