After one of the most successful years in recent time for Team Staffs, the Students’ Union and University are pleased to confirm that over £300,000 in resources, equipment and facilities is being invested into BUCS competitive sport.

This will help us effectively deliver sport and physical activity in partnership and also helps us ensure that participation, regardless of it being recreational or elite sport, is at the forefront.

Vice-President Tash Crump, who has been leading the work in conjunction with the University said:

“With the University’s Sports Development Team and the Union working closely together, there’s more opportunities for sport to grow”

“Our aim is to get more students engaged within sport at staffs and this means there will be something for everyone.”

This is a great win for students, which shows that the University are indeed committed to making sport at Staffs better.

Let’s hope that this commitment has helped us improve the future of sporting success for Team Staffs.
