"My journey began in forensics and after semester one, I transferred over to Policing and Criminal Investigation. From day one the tutors made me feel so welcome onto their course. From day one it was quite clear to me that Lauren and the rest of the team were warm, welcoming and so passionate about their job. I had a range of personal diversities outside of my University degree, and if it wasn't for Lauren's belief in me personally, I would have probably quit. She is so dedicated and passionate to her students and always goes above and beyond her job description, she is such a wonderful tutor and inspiring to me as another woman. I would like to find a way to give her something back as I will be forever indebted to her for everything she has done for me when she did not have to. She most definitely deserves some recognition for her dedication."
