Taking place on the 29th September from 12-7pm, in conjunction with LMA, Loughborough University and Here East, we are bringing you the biggest Freshers Fest we’ve seen yet! They’ll be a variety of stalls, classes, food vendors and discounts! We want you to make the most of your time, so we thought we’d give you the lowdown of what to expect!
We’re super lucky to have some amazing partnerships around the area, and as such we’re able to host a few classes for you all to enjoy. We have:
- Adore Fitness doing a Latin Fusion Dance from 2-2:45
- Aura Yoga providing a relaxing yoga class from 3-3:45
- A FIIT HIIT Class from 4-4:25
These are all free opportunities for you to give it a go and see what its all about and have a bit of fun! We ask that you sign before hand and reserve a spot by going to the ‘What’s On’ page for London and clicking on the individual sessions!
There’s a bunch of offers happening on the day too with Saint Espresso offering a free coffee on the day and then 10% off onwards, The Lock Inn are doing 2-4-1 deals on their home cocktails, Gotto are giving out £5 Margarita Pizza’s, Randys Wings are offering 15% off for students, and F45 have a Staffs Specific deal on for 2 weeks of training for £35!
We have a bunch of other stalls dotted across campus including your very own SU and your two resident London brunches, VGU and MYTH. We’ll be there with our friendly selves and possibly a few fun things up our sleeve, so be sure to come over and say hi.
We’ll be kicking the day off with some wonderful live music, and Urban Food Fest, who are joining us during the day with some fabulous vendors and amazing food so be sure to check by and see if anything takes your fancy! The day will be ending with our resident DJ, Holly taking to the decks and starting up the night! With the event finishing at 7pm, It’ll be the perfect time to head over to the popular Canalside retro gaming bar, Four Quarters with a whopping 25% off with your student ID!
