Your Students’ Union venues have (once again) received the ‘Best Bar None’ Gold Accredited Award!
This award is given out to venues that go above and beyond to create a friendly and safe environment. Your venue staff work endlessly behind the scene to ensure all customers and staff are safe and able to enjoy their time within our venues. The team do this by ensuring there are schemes in action including our Union Angels, Responsible drinking and Be Safe campaign, while maintaining positive relationships with local authorities and licensed trading teams. In addition to this, we provide continuous staff development and training that provides transferable skills in areas such as First Aid.
We’re extremely proud of our venues (and you should be too!) and we’d like to thank the teams across our venues for all their hard work, with an extra mention to Kerry Magee, Duty Manager at Ember Lounger and Simon Byrne, former Duty Manager at LRV/Verve for all their hard work.
