Just thougth I would give an update regarding the progress of the project.
All surveys have now been closed and all data collected. Most of the data has been inputted into spreadsheets and analysed, which took quite a while to complete. The preliminary results so far show some quite interesting trends for student-staff opinions. The trends are both positive and negative depending on how they are looked at and how they are used. As always, negative comments are really positive comments disguising themselves as ways to improve the experience of staff and students.
At the moment all that is left is finishing the compilation of all the results into a readable form and follow some of the comments up with a few more meetings just to clarify points.The project is still on schedule to be finished mid way through may with a large report for the submission being done.If anyone is interested in the outcome and to have a look at the report please don't hesitate to get in touch with me, my email address is in the staff directory.
