We’re the Midwifery & Allied Health Professions Society and our regular events, outside of lectures, give you the chance to meet other students and we support you to be the best you can be.
We’re here to build a sense of belonging and a community for Midwifery & Allied Health Professionals students and help represent your academic interests. We’re one big family!
By joining in with our events and activities you'll have the chance to get support and socialise with friends and do loads of different things which will not only be fun, but will help you when you graduate and move on to the world of work.
All Midwifery & Allied Health Professions students will be automatically enrolled, for free, by the Students’ Union, so you don’t have to worry about remembering to join us or having to pay to get involved.
Last year, other academic societies held conferences relevant to their subjects; had sessions with the Guide Dogs to help their members de-stress; travelled to events across the country and one group even held the UK Premierre of a movie, so there’s loads to get involved with.
We want this year to be our biggest and best ever, so get involved!
We're currently looking for students to join our committee! Could you help run our events, look after our social media, keep in touch with members and help out with our money? If so, email firstname.lastname@example.org to have a chat about the opportunities we have to offer.
