Genre Month is a short film production project, started up in January 2018 by film students James Baldwin and Kieran Martin.
We help you to produce 5-minute short films, of specified genres, every month, with a team comprised of students from all courses throughout the university.
Our goal is to expand our filmmaking skills, by gaining lots of on-set experience with various productions. We help you to build up a network of like-minded people to work with, but also provide showreel content for you to develop a solid portfolio of work.
Just click the green button to the left of the page! There’s an £8 joining fee, including insurance, which will go solely towards catering on set, to ensure all productions have a fair and equal budget.
