Proud to be Staffs Story: Ciara Hicks-Evans

Student, School of Creative Arts and Engineering

When our students and our teaching teams work closely together we can achieve great learning outcomes for our students, even in times of crisis. Ciara, working hard during the Coronavirus Outbreak to support her colleagues, has ensured that an entire cohort can remain proud of their University. Thank you Ciara, for making us Proud to be Staffs too.

Ciara Hicks-Evans's Story

"Well – totally impressed with Ciara representation for the student body during lockdown. She has been proactive not only in supporting fellow students, but also in feeding back when things have been great – this keeps up the spirts of staff who were absolutely transformational in drama. Working long hours to ensure “the show went on”. Students and staff pulled together through a difficult period and have come up with some amazing solutions to move their learning forward. Ciara is also active in sharing her views on social media and has been great ambassador the student. Thank you Ciara."

We hope that you are as proud of your story as we are. However, if you would prefer the Students' Union to no longer display you story on our website, please email union@staffs.ac.uk and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.
