Lisa Huson 's Story

"Lisa has the kindest heart. Being away from the main campus can be quite lonely, however Lisa makes London, Kiln and Poulson far from lonely. Whether it be her welcoming smile, sense of humour, or just being there when you need a brew, she's an unknown treasure in the union. She's known by everyone who lives in the buildings because she makes an effort to go out of her way to get to know tenants, or she'll help organise social events so that tenants can meet one another. It's got to the point that even when she's got a day off, she'll still be on the end of a phone call if it's needed. Her attention to detail in catering for all the different characteristics that individuals have and her understanding, patience and selflessness when it comes to individual needs are incredible. She's helped me personally this year. Having someone so willing to sit, listen and chat when I've been feeling down, making me a coffee if I've needed it, and constantly improving my wellbeing by making me smile. She's the best, and will always make me Proud To Be Staffs. "
