Edward Tolhurst's Story
"In November 2020 Edward took over the supervision of my Master's dissertation after I had been struggling with it for a variety of reasons, for many months. Since taking on my supervision Ed has been a brilliant support to me and has gone above and beyond what is expected of a dissertation supervisor. He has met with me regularly (virtually of course) to keep me on track, contacted university support services on my behalf when I was having no luck, and generally given me some amazing advice when I was struggling. Without Edward's support, I would not be in the position to hand in my dissertation in a few weeks and probably would have left Staffordshire University without my Masters. I submitting this nomination as a thank you to him for all his support."
